Thanks for the amazing review, Mike. I'm so glad you like the record. As you say, you had a hand in making it happen! And the fact that you had to stay up until the middle of the night to listen tickles me to no end.

BTW, that was Charlie Parker's "My Little Suede Shoes" that I quoted at the end of "Mary Jane". I love playing that tune, and it just came out! I hope I don't have to pay royalties for the quote...

You bring up another good point, how long before the spammers find a way to take advantage of the List feature?

Great ideas about letting you opt-out of being on any given list, but Twitter has never been preemptive in introducing features, and I''m afraid it will take a major incident, probably involving a national brand or celebrity to get something like that implemented.

Re: Slanderer's List

You make a very valid point and it's not a matter of "if" as it is "when".

And I wouldn't quote this is it wasn't so appropriate; "With great power comes great responsibility".

In order to avoid and counter the misguided actions of those who choose to do harm, Twitter should give users the ability to remove their username from a list. Even allow them to report the list as spam - just as they would a user tweeting meaningless sales links.

Re: Happy Birthday Buddy!

Well, you hep cat...time for you to do some woodshedding! Hope you join in next week, everyone's welcome to ask questions, answer some, voice their opinion... as you saw i can be a little no-holds-barred at times. :-) And if you have anything you want to bounce off other designer/creative types, just use the #dcth hashtag in any tweet.

Re: #DCTH Chat Session for 04/23/09

This was my first DCTH, and actually my baby steps into the world of graphics and web design...I didn't post, but tried to follow along. I started doing them for myself so I could catch up, why not share the wealth. :-)

Cristhian - Good to meet you tonight. It's a great bunch of folks using Twitter & the #DCTH hashtag, lot's of great follows in there.
I have to admit that doing the PDF was a selfish act; basically to allow me to go through the hundreds of tweets that I missed. I figured it would also be helpful to everyone involved (and those folks who couldn't make it.) So I thought I'd share.

I'm amazed at how free-flowing the exchanges get even within the 140 character limit.

Re: #DCTH Chat Session for 1/29/09

yea it was a great night - again :)
